Frequently asked questions.

How often should I get my Business windows cleaned?

Newcastle’s unique mix of coastal sea air and busy roads means your business windows don’t stay clean for long. The combination of sea salt, road grime, and dust from our coal-mining past can quickly leave your windows looking dirty and neglected.

To keep your windows looking their best, we offer three recommended service options:

  • Weekly – Perfect for businesses that want to maintain a spotless appearance at all times. (Weekly services also offer our best value pricing.)

  • Fortnightly – Ideal for most businesses, this option strikes a balance between cleanliness and affordability.

  • Monthly – Best for those looking to minimise costs while still keeping the view clear. Keep in mind that monthly cleans often require more effort and are therefore the most expensive.

Still unsure? We're happy to help you choose the right schedule based on your location, foot traffic, and exposure to the elements.

What is your cleaning process?

We start by checking the windows and brushing away any cobwebs or debris from the glass. Next, we use a mop/applicator soaked in water mixed with our (secret ingredient) to apply a cleaning solution to the surface. This loosens and lifts the dirt, so it’s no longer stuck to the glass.

Once the dirt is agitated, we use a squeegee and a specialised technique to remove the dirty water, leaving the glass clear. We then detail the edges with a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining spots and finish by wiping down the frames with a dedicated cloth. Finally, we dry the floor area with a towel to leave everything neat and safe.

The result? Crystal-clear, streak-free windows that enhance your view, attract attention, and boost your professional image.

My Janitorial company says they can clean my business windows why should I choose you?

While janitorial companies may offer window cleaning as part of their services, it's not their specialty — but it is ours.

We live and breathe window cleaning. It’s what we do every day, and we’ve perfected the techniques and tools that deliver the best results, fast. While a janitorial team can clean your windows, it typically takes them longer, which means you may end up paying more for less effective results.

When you choose a dedicated window cleaning company, you get better value for money, faster service, and streak-free windows that truly stand out. We focus on one thing — and we do it exceptionally well.

Should I get my windows cleaned if is raining?

Short answer: Yes.
Rain itself doesn’t make your windows dirty — in fact, it's usually quite pure and can even help rinse the glass. The real problem is when rain mixes with existing dirt, dust, or salt, leaving streaks and spots behind as it dries.

That’s why getting your windows cleaned during light rain, actually prevents them from looking worse, not the other way around.

Where we do draw the line is in heavy storms. If strong winds are blowing grime around, or there’s runoff from a dirty roof, we may reschedule to make sure you get the best result. But if it’s just a rainy day with mild wind, you’re good to go.

Plus, skipping a clean means your windows will have the original dirt, now rain-splashed and dried into place, and it won’t be properly cleaned until your next booking — not a great look.

So yes getting your windows cleaned on a rainy day is still a smart move.
